Antonio and Sara’s love story began through dance in the city of Lisbon. Sara was an instructor and Antonio, an editor for an art magazine. It was his childhood dream to one day create wines in his homeland of the Dao. Leaving the city in 2000, Antonio & Sara settled in Mouraz, a village situated in the Dao wine region of Portugal. It is here, above the winery, where Antonio was born and where his family has farmed vineyards holistically and sustainably for several generations. All of their vineyards gained organic certification in 1997 and in 2006, they began working with biodynamic practices.

The vinho branco (white wine) is a nine grape blend of indigenous varietals. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged on lees for 8 months with stirring, the wine has a beautiful soft texture that is round and creamy. Notes of green apple, white flowers, almond, lemon peel and sage, this wine lends itself easily to food. We recommend pizza with pesto & fresh tomato or baked cod with roasted veggies.
